What weather actually stops a job
We work through:
- Light rain or drizzle. The wash solution works rain or shine, and everything gets rinsed anyway
- Overcast, fog, and cool days. Honestly, some of the best washing weather there is
We reschedule for:
- Heavy rain. Controlled application isn't possible, and we won't do sloppy work just to keep a date
- High wind. Overspray control comes first; wind is the one condition we never push through
- Temperatures near freezing. The solution and rinse both need above-freezing conditions to work and to be safe on your surfaces
- Thunder and lightning. Ladders, water, metal. No.
How rescheduling works
- We watch the forecast so you don't have to.
If your job date looks doubtful, you'll hear from us. You'll never be left wondering if we're coming.
- You get as much notice as the forecast allows.
Usually the evening before; occasionally the morning of, when the weather turns faster than predicted.
- Weather reschedules cost you nothing.
No fees, no lost deposit, no starting over. Your quote stays locked.
- You go to the front of the line.
Weather-bumped jobs get first claim on the next workable day. You don't rejoin the back of the queue.
- We confirm the new date with you.
We don't just show up on a day you didn't agree to.
If you need to reschedule
Life happens. Give us 24 hours' notice when you can and we'll move your job, no charge and no hassle. Since most jobs don't need you home anyway, ask us first: there's a good chance the original date still works even if your plans changed.
If we're mid-job when the weather turns
It happens on this coast. If conditions force us to stop partway:
- Anything half-done gets rinsed and left safe, never mid-treatment
- We come back to finish at the next workable slot, at no extra cost
- You only ever pay for a completed job, never for a weather-interrupted one
The bottom line
We'd rather move your job than rush it. Every reschedule costs us more than it costs you, so when we call to move a date, it's because doing it right that day wasn't possible. That's the same judgment we apply to everything else on your property.
