Effective 2026-09-21. Applies to titanpressurewashing.ca and the quote form on it. Titan Pressure Washing is a registered Nova Scotia business (703638833NS0001), owner-operated, based in Yarmouth County.
What the quote form collects
Only what we need to price and schedule a job:
- Contact details: your name, and a phone number and/or email address.
- The property: the service address or town, what needs cleaning, how many storeys, the condition of the surface, whether there's an outdoor tap, and anything you type in the notes.
- Photos of your home, if you attach them. Your browser shrinks them before upload; we keep the shrunken copy.
- Preferences: how you'd like to be contacted, your timing, and how you heard about us.
- Technical: the page the form was sent from, the time it was sent, and your IP address. The IP is used only to stop spam floods (a limit on submissions per minute) and is not stored with your lead.
The form is free and there is no account, no login, and no payment information collected anywhere on this site.
What we do with it
- We use it to quote your job, ask follow-up questions, schedule the work, and keep a record of what was done at which address.
- A copy of each quote request is emailed to Chad. That email passes through a transactional email provider (SendGrid) to deliver it; they process it on our behalf and do not use it for their own purposes.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not share it with anyone except as needed to deliver the service (for example, a subcontractor on a large commercial job, who is bound to the same rules).
- No marketing without your permission. Under Canada's anti-spam law (CASL) we only send you messages about your own quote or booking. If we ever want to send offers or seasonal reminders, we will ask you first, and every such message will have a way to opt out.
Photos of homes
Photos you send us are used to quote and plan your job. Photos we take on the job are used to confirm the work and, if you agree to it, to show as before-and-after examples on this site and our Facebook page. We only publish a photo of your property with your OK, we never include house numbers, faces, licence plates, or anything that identifies you, and you can withdraw that OK at any time by contacting us; we'll take the photo down.
Website analytics: Meta Pixel
This site uses the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. It tells us whether people who saw a Titan ad on Facebook or Instagram visited the site or sent a quote request, which is how a small business learns whether an ad is worth the money. The Pixel sets cookies and shares your visit with Meta according to Meta's privacy policy; if you have a Facebook account, Meta may connect the visit to it. The Pixel does not receive what you type in the quote form, and it does not receive your photos.
To opt out: use your browser's tracking protection or an ad blocker (both stop the Pixel loading), adjust "Your activity off Meta technologies" in your Facebook settings, or use the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out. The site works the same either way.
We do not use Google Analytics or any other tracking at this time. If that changes, this page will say so.
How long we keep it
- Quote requests that don't become jobs: deleted within 12 months of the last contact.
- Jobs we've done: the job record (address, work done, date, price) is kept for 7 years because tax and business records rules require it. Your photos are deleted from that record after 2 years unless you've agreed to let us use them.
- Email notifications: kept in Chad's business mailbox for the same periods.
Records live on a password-protected server in Canada and on Chad's phone and business mailbox. It is a small operation; the honest description of our security is "strong passwords, encrypted devices, and nobody else has access."
Your rights and how to use them
Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Text, call, or email and we'll do it, usually the same week:
If you're not satisfied with how we handled a request, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
If this notice changes in a way that matters, the effective date at the top changes with it. We won't quietly start using your information for something you didn't expect.
