Foggiest town in the province
Why Yarmouth houses go green faster than almost anywhere
Yarmouth sits on the corner where the Gulf of Maine meets the Bay of Fundy, and the fog that comes with that is famous for a reason. Summer humidity runs near 90%, rain comes in every month, and most lots have spruce for shade. For algae, mildew, moss, and lichen, that's a five-star hotel.
It shows up the same way all over town: a green haze on the north wall, black speckles under the eaves, a slick front step every foggy morning. It isn't dirt, and pressure alone won't fix it. A soft wash kills the growth at the root, which is why we lead with it on siding and save the real pressure for concrete.

Communities we cover around Yarmouth
If your road isn't on the list, it's almost certainly still covered. Yarmouth County is home ground.
What we see on Yarmouth homes
The heritage homes. Yarmouth's sea-captain-era houses on Main, Collins, and the streets up the hill are a big part of why the town looks the way it does. Old painted wood and cedar shingle need the gentlest mix and a careful look at the paint first. We wash them soft, low, and slow, and if the paint is already failing we'll tell you before we touch it.
The vinyl bungalows and split-levels out Hebron, Arcadia, Dayton, and along the Starrs Road side are the bread and butter. Vinyl loves to grow algae in its texture and hates high pressure. A soft wash brings it back without the wand stripes.
Shoreline and harbour properties from Overton out to Cape Forchu, and down through Wedgeport and the Pubnicos, get salt on top of the fog. Salt film holds moisture and feeds growth, so those houses tend to need washing more often. Fishing sheds, wharfside buildings, and boat-storage exteriors are fair game too.
Booking from Yarmouth
Yarmouth-area jobs book individually, no minimum, any workable day April through November. Spring fills up first (everyone sees a winter's worth of grime at once), so a quote request in March costs nothing and gets you in line.
Send two photos by text to 782-446-3384 or use the quote form. Most quotes come back within 24–48 hours, and the number we agree on before work starts is the number you pay. If you'd rather we come look in person, that's easy in Yarmouth.
